Scott Johnson Principal

Scott is a Principal at H.I.G. Growth Partners in the Boston office, where he focuses on lower middle market growth buyouts and and minority growth equity investments in high-growth companies.

Scott is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and sits on the board of several H.I.G. portfolio companies.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Scott was a Vice President at Gemini Investors, a private equity firm focused on growing lower middle market companies. At Gemini, Scott completed investments in a wide range of sectors including consumer products and business services. Prior to Gemini Investors, Scott was a Vice President at Altus Capital Partners. Scott began his career as a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting where he advised Fortune 500 healthcare companies on M&A strategy.

Scott earned an M.B.A. from the Tuck of School of Business at Dartmouth and an undergraduate degree in business from Boston University.
