Anila Thompson Managing Director

Anila serves as a Managing Director in H.I.G.’s Capital Formation Group. Based in London, Anila is responsible for capital raising and investor relations activities in Europe across the firm’s real estate and infrastructure funds.

Anila serves as a Managing Director in H.I.G.’s Capital Formation Group. Based in London, Anila is responsible for capital raising and investor relations activities in Europe across the firm’s private equity and real assets funds.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Anila worked in JLL’s Capital Markets group, focused on private funds fundraising. Earlier in her career, she worked on fundraising and business development roles for asset managers and private market firms, including at Venn Partners and Threadneedle Investments. Anila started her career as a corporate lawyer at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London.

She has an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in law from Cambridge University. She serves as a Committee Member of the Commercial Property Forum of the Cambridge University Land Society.
